EXPERIENCE OF PROFESSIONAL

Hi,

It was a great experience to face the walk-in of TCS. In the first round there was objective questions on aptitude, critical reasoning and vocabulary. After being short listed I was told to come for interview after 3 days. In those periods I just tried to get thorough with my basics. I didn't tried to read too many subjects ,concentrated on the some basic subjects viz. C, C++, JAVA, OS, DBMS etc.

In the interview, I just tried to be calm, confident , shelling my nervousness. There is a common question that is asked in each interview to introduce yourself. This question decides the course of your interview. So, I will advice to prepare this question quite thoroughly and rehearse it before entering for your interview. Then, comes the questions related to your project. While answering you need to maintain the eye contact with your interviewers. Basically, they try to check your skills on the languages used ,DBMS etc. I was asked to explain my project and later about the backend used .DBMS is an important subject for an interview. There was an OS question on memory management. I was also told to write a program to print sum of 10 numbers.

In the HR round, there were some basic questions like why should we take you etc. Later he informed me of the bonds related to joining the company. Afterwards after few more questions I was told that I have been selected for TCS.

I will like to advice the job seekers to be confident. Its not necessary that  you know everything but whatever you know speak confidently. If you don't know something say it frankly. Never try to give wrong answers, they go against you. And, don't panic if you don't know the answer. They don't have many expectations from a fresher. They just try to check your confidence and attitude. So,

BEST OF LUCK FOR YOUR INTERVIEWS AND YOUR FUTURE.
